Raquel was diagnosed with colon cancer in early 2009. After surgery and chemo treatments, her prognosis was good.
In December 2009, it was discovered that the cancer was back and had spread.
Experimental treatments in Texas and back at home in Minnesota helped at first
but sadly not enough to keep her beautiful light shining with us.
Raquel sadly lost her battle with cancer on April 19, 2010. She was just 32 years old.
This donation page was setup to collect donations to help offset some of the bills and other costs
she and her family have incurred during her battle with cancer.
